2022: A Debut
In January this year, Journeywork incorporated as a non-profit. Already we have hosted four events where 55 volunteers helped replace 4,081 square feet of lawn with 645 native plants.
Our volunteers are heeding the call to ACT on climate change by coming together in community. Together, we're replacing lawns & landscaping with plantings that are ecologically functional, economically viable, and socially appropriate in southeastern PA.
|
We're so excited for 2023, and while community events will slow over the winter, our planning will continue! One priority is to stock up on garden tools & gloves for our volunteers to use. Will you help us meet our very first Giving Tuesday fundraiser goal of $2,000 by making a tax-deductible contribution?

Do You Like My Hat?
While supplies last, you'll receive a cozy fleece hat (handmade and embroidered by Paige) as a THANK YOU for every #GivingTuesday donation of $50 or more!
|
Your tax-deductible donation today will help us achieve our goal of $2,000 to purchase tools & gloves for volunteers to use for spring-time planting.

Journeywork gives each one of us a chance to do something tangible about climate change. One plant at a time. Together.

Plant Them and They Will Come
Plant a flower bed around a tree. Take out a strip of lawn by your mailbox. Install a pollinator garden at your church. Our volunteers, trowels in hand, can help you.
|
The birds and the bugs need us to plant more food and shelter for them. With your help, Journeywork can equip more community members to get more plants in the ground. With a #GivingTuesday donation of $25, we will send you a packet of locally saved native flower seeds as our way of saying THANK YOU!
