I got an email from Doug Tallamy yesterday, the person whose work inspired me to found Journeywork. He wrote that when he started Homegrown National Park with Michelle Alfandari, he insisted he would not ask members for money because he was already asking people to make so many changes in the way they take care of their land.
Similarly, I was not planning to send so many emails. I don't want to bug people (no pun intended). But the need is great. Journeywork is creating habitat for the cast of characters above and millions more like them.
We set a goal of raising $5,000 for critical habitat, and we are $598 away.
If you have already donated, thank you. If you haven't, please consider giving whatever you can.
Your gift in any amount will help us fight climate change locally--positively and joyfully! Please help us bring native plants, training, and curriculum connections to groups in our community.
No gift is too small--$10 buys 5 plants for a school pollinator garden.
Journeywork is a 501c3 organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. If your employer has a match program, your gift can make twice the impact!
Thank you for being part of the Journeywork community!
