A year ago Journeywork raised money so that we could give plant grants to schools and civic organizations. Thanks to your donations, we were able to provide plant grants to Fox Chase Farm, Plymouth Meeting Friends School, Friends of Vernon Park, Baldi Middle School, and Gwynedd Friends School. Some of these grants simply covered the cost of the plants, and others included design, installation, and management.
When you donate to Journeywork, you allow us to offer more plant grants and to expand our outreach.
Imagine pollinator gardens becoming the norm at schools instead of endless lawn.
Imagine third graders telling you about the habits of different native bees after observing them outside their classrooms.
Imagine schools saving the seeds from their gardens to share with school families.
