Journeywork and Wissahickon Trails are conducting a BioBlitz on Saturday, June 7 at Gwynedd Friends Meeting from 9:00-12:00. A BioBlitz is a community event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area, and we would love to have folks of all ages explore with experts and identify birds, bees and other insects, mushrooms, plants, trees, and any other organisms we discover.

To help us identify and record our findings, Kristy Morley, Senior Naturalist at Wissahickon Trails, is offering an online iNaturalist training on Thursday, April 17 at 7:00.

iNaturalist is an app that helps you identify the plants and animals around you while also generating data for science and conservation. When you use it, you are not only learning, you are helping scientists around the world!
