Enjoy an evening under the stars and among the flowers with Jenny Rose Carey, the first speaker for our inaugural Summer Solstice Lecture. She will be sharing stories of her experiences gardening with nature and leading a walk to learn more about what is in bloom on the grounds at Gwynedd Friends Meeting.
|
Jenny is the author of Glorious Shade and The Ultimate Flower Gardener's Guide. She and her home gardens have been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Wall Street Journal, and on the PBS series The Victory Garden. She is the former senior director of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Meadowbrook Farm in Jenkintown and former director of the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University.

This is Journeywork's first summer fundraiser, and we are hoping to raise $4,000 for our school plant grant program and outreach.

We hope you can join us for this relaxing and informative evening. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy refreshments and conversation in the field as the lightning bugs come out. Meet other members of the Journeywork community who are supporting our work to create healthy habitat.
