Dear there,

Join me and Grace McMackin, a bee expert and professor at Bryn Athyn College, at the pollinator garden at Gwynedd Friends Meeting this Saturday, 10:00-11:30, to look for native bees and other pollinators. The garden is buzzing with bees and solitary wasps (that won't hurt you), and we will see some butterflies and moths too!
On Saturday afternoon, you can check out our not-a-lawn party in Lansdale from 4:00-6:00. Below is a photo of the pollinator garden we planted in June, and the photo on the right was taken yesterday. Butterfly milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa), Calico beardtongue (Penstemon calycosus), and Purple lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) are blooming right now. Join us for refreshments and festive conversation!
