We have had a great year. We held 43 events, including educational events like our Bioblitz and seasonal gatherings. Through the efforts of 82 volunteers and our Pollinator Palooza participants, we added 5,619 plants to 154 yards.

When the news delivers another grim statistic about environmental threats, we are here with our bucket of gloves and bucket of soil knives, ready to build healthy habitat and the community that supports it.

I love Journeywork because it’s about showing up, with shovels, neighbors, and hope. One plant at a time, Paige brings communities together to restore the land and teaches them how to keep going. What inspires me most is how accessible this work is: anyone can participate, regardless of background or experience, turning ecological restoration into a shared act of hope and empowerment.

We depend on memberships and individual contributions to fund our outreach and plant grant efforts. We want to make it as easy and as accessible as possible to learn about and add native plants to landscapes everywhere, so we offer our educational events for free or low-cost. We rely on donations to do this while covering our operating expenses.

|
Our goal is to raise $7,500 by December 31 to keep this work going and growing, and we have raised $5,327. We appreciate a donation in any amount, and every donation is tax-deductible. If every subscriber pitched in $5, we would surpass our goal--we are grateful to all of you who have already donated! If your employer has a match program, your gift can make twice the impact!
