Since 2022, Journeywork has offered a tangible way to think globally and act locally about biodiversity and climate resilience. We connect yard owners who want to build healthy habitat with volunteers who want to help them. Recently, Atharva, one of our youngest volunteers, described his experience:

As a high schooler, I have been volunteering with Journeywork for over a year, and it has been an amazing experience! Helping to plant and garden outside is really enjoyable and relaxing. After we finish, it feels incredibly rewarding to see what we as a group accomplished in what feels like such a short time. I have met many wonderful people throughout my time volunteering, and it is always worth it to spend time helping the community with them.

This year, Atharva joined 81 other volunteers at 43 events in our community, giving 299 hours to remove invasive species, install gardens, share information about native plants, and weed. We are deeply grateful for all our volunteers and for our yard owners who support our model.

With your support, we can continue to reach more neighborhoods, schools, and churches--anyone with a lawn--to offer a way to take action. Together.

We depend on memberships and individual contributions to fund our outreach and plant grant efforts. We want to make it as easy and as accessible as possible to learn about and add native plants to landscapes everywhere, so we offer our educational events for free or low-cost. We rely on donations to make this possible while covering our operating expenses.

|
With $2,210 raised, we are almost a third of the way toward reaching our goal of $7,500. We appreciate a donation in any amount, and every donation is tax-deductible. If your employer has a match program, your gift can make twice the impact!

Thank you for your support!
